According to a report of „süddeutsche zeitung“, a prominent newspaper in Germany, Joby and Archer are attempting to acquire assets of Lilium, the German eVTOL startup which filed bankrupcy in October last year.

According to SZ report, three interested parties have now submitted offers for Lilium, including the two American industry leaders Archer and Joby Aviation along with the Advanced Air Mobility Group (AAMG). A spokesman for the insolvency administrator Ivo-Meinert Willrodt (law firm Pluta) confirmed that there were several offers for Lilium. However, he did not want to reveal the identity of the potential buyers and other details.

Reportedly, Archer is mainly interested in patents, while Joby wants to restart the Lilium Jet project.
